Women Build seeks to bring women together to help female homebuyers overcome barriers to homeownership. As a community of 300+ strong women, we will accomplish two incredible feats:
Women create teams of 10, and these teams each raise $5,000 (or $500 per person) to fully sponsor the materials for a home. These teams come together during the two-week-long event to volunteer alongside each other and the future homeowners to build the homes. Individuals can fundraise independent of a team and volunteer one day during the two week event. The women volunteering come from different companies and organizations across the Cape Fear region to partner alongside two single moms in their journeys to homeownership.
