Each Spring, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity hosts college students whom build with us during their Spring Breaks. Instead of the typical Spring Break experience, these students are committed to building a better community and build with us Monday through Friday.
In 2017, we hosted a record number of students throughout five weeks in February and March. Over a hundred students invested a combined 3,000+ hours working on five different Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity homes. The Collegiate Challenge teams came from across the country: Siena College, University of Findlay, Indiana University, Indiana University School of Medicine, Florida State University, University of Wisconsin, Georgia Tech and Randolph-Macon College.
