ThriventBuild Groundbreaking Ceremony a Success.  Golden shovels breaking dirt was just one of the memorable signs on Saturday,  April 22nd at 1408 King Street, Wilmington.  Thrivent Financial Lutheran members and the community turned out for the event.  Cape Fear Habitat is proud is proud to be a recipient of a grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in the amount of $56, 980.   

Circuit City Memorial Day Weekend Event Benefited Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity.  Circuit City in Wilmington hosted a unique fundraising event Saturday, May 27th.  Associates sold 2 x 4 pieces of wood for a $5.00 donation.  Those who purchased the 2 x 4's were asked to sign good wishes on the wood which was then donated to Cape Fear Habitat and then used for construction. All of the proceeds and the wood benefited Cape Fear Habitat.  A big thank you to Circuit City!

Golden Hammer Fundraising Breakfast held May 2nd raised $98,490!  Cape Fear Habitat thanks all who generously donated and supported our important mission and our annual event. 

Special Thanks to Wilmington East Rotary Club.  Their golf tournament raised $4,500 for our affiliate. We look forward to next year's tournament - - March 30th!
