Don’t Miss TWO Habitat Dedications AND a Groundbreaking in January!

One of the very best parts of my job is to witness Habitat House Dedications!  Love, laughter, and happy tears flow as the culmination of many Sweat-Equity hours is celebrated with the gift of house keys to the new homeowners!  Many future homeowners juggle two or more jobs, and have the typical family responsibilities as they also fulfill the strict requirements of the Habitat Program.  I am constantly reminded of the strength and courage of those who pursue the opportunities of our homeownership program.

On Sunday afternoon, January 22nd, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity will host not one, but TWO House Dedications!  Two beautiful Habitat homes will be opened to welcome friends and family members of soon-to-be Habitat homeowners.  Join us at 2:00 in Navassa – 1219 Old Mill Road – and again at 3:30 at 1205 South 5th Street in Wilmington to honor two families who so-o deserve the American dream of homeownership!  Come with an open heart – as yours will truly be filled up with Habitat Love!

In addition, come see how the process starts at the upcoming Groundbreaking on Saturday, January 21st.  At 8:00 in the morning, a brief ceremony will take place at 510 Hope Springs Court in Habitat’s Flagship Community – The Cottages at Cornerstone.  Come celebrate as we bless the ground and start digging another foundation that will support yet another Habitat house – and make the dreams of a lifetime come true for a very special lady!

What awesome ways to start the celebration of Cape Fear Habitat’s 25th Year Anniversary!  Join us, won’t you?
